Symptoms
  • Sudden painless loss of Vision (6/9 – 6/24)

  • Micropsia

  • Metamorphopsia

  • Positive Scotoma

  • Whites may appear duller

  • A dark spot in the center of vision

  • Objects may seen father away than they really are.
     

Causes
  • Young adult (20-50 years), males more than females

  • Type A personality individuals

  • Emotional stress

  • Steroid intake is risk factor

  • Hypertension

  • Pregnancy (3rd trimester)

  • Cushing’s disease
